Lera reached the quarters in singles and finals of doubles at the G1 Copa Gatorade in Venezuela last week...This result propelled her up to 75 on the latest ITF rankings.

Lera lost in the Round of 16 to top seed and eventual finalist, Julia Cohen, 75 63...Lera partnered with fellow Russian, Elena Chernyakova, and reached the finals before losing in three sets to the top seeded pairing of Cohen and Anastasia Pivovarova. This result gave Lera enough points to break into the top 100 on the ITF combined rankings...She is the second youngest player in the top 100.

Lera moves on to the Copa Gatorade in Venezuela this week for another Grade 1 Event.

Lera is healthy and competing again...Making her 2007 debut at the Coffee Bowl in Costa Rica...The Coffee Bowl is a presitigious Grade 1 event on the ITF Junior Circuit...Lera is seeded 13th and won her first two rounds easily...She now plays #1 seed, Julia Cohen, from Florida
